Over time, engineering innovates in new construction processes that give an advantage to the traditional system and hand in hand the market presents avant-garde materials that enhance improvement in the execution of projects. In this research, the improvement in productivity in the placement of prestressed joists and clay vaults was evaluated in a project carried out by the company Grupo Origina. To do this, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) was used as a tool to help us graph all the processes and those involved in the game. It began by carrying out an initial diagnosis to demonstrate Productive Work (TP), Contributory Work (TC) and Non-Contributory Work (TNC), which we obtained 30% TP and 16% TNC. In addition, the time it takes to complete the entire game was evaluated. Then, improvements were proposed in the production process with a projected VSM. To validate this proposal, it was implemented in the project with the production team and positive results were obtained, improving productive work by 41% and also reducing non-contributory times to 50% compared to the initial situation. For this, the VSM was implemented and the initial and final values were compared after implementation, managing to reduce production cycle times and waiting times.
