This study investigates the relationship between destination image, memorable tourist experience, tourist satisfaction, and recommendation intention in sustainable tourism. Sustainable tourism aims to safeguard natural environments, promote forms of tourism related to the natural and social environment, integrate tourist movement with the local community, and ensure safety for both tourists during their travels and local communities during their stay. In contrast to mass tourism, which has been criticized for its lack of sustainability and for presenting a false image of sustainability, sustainable tourism is presented as an alternative. This research aims to analyze how destination image and memorable tourist experiences influence tourist satisfaction and how satisfaction, in turn, influences recommendation intention in the context of sustainable tourism. Therefore, a non-probabilistic sampling will be carried out for convenience of 400 Peruvian and foreign people who have visited a Peruvian sustainable tourism site at least once. To do this, an online survey will be carried out, measured using a Likert scale from one to five, where one equals completely disagree and five equals completely agree. Finally, for results analysis, the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) will be employed, and the data will be processed using the Smart PLS software.
