Deterministic slope stability analysis is a common study used to determine parameters and engineering techniques to apply in the specific area. However, it is currently known that for roads that are surrounded by inclined surfaces or hills, a traditional safety factor analysis is not sufficient. Therefore, this thesis explains a probabilistic analysis in the area of the National Highway PE-14A Pomachaca - Yunguilla Section. This analysis has allowed us to quantify the probability levels of failure in different sectors of the study area, generally reaching low levels and in some cases intermediate levels of a possible landslide. This result was obtained thanks to the Taylor and Monte Carlo method, which allows the parameters to be grouped in all the sections studied. The phenomenon that occurred in the study site led to a comparison between both calculation methods: Taylor and Monte Carlo, resulting in a minimal difference between both. This made it possible to understand the importance of having a greater number of options in a calculation. In order to find the safety factor, the segment method and fellenius method were considered, being the best known.
