Chapter 1, the study of the metalworking sector in Peru is developed, it has been increasing its production capacity; More and more companies invest in high-tech machinery to be able to satisfy the needs of their customers who increasingly seek to obtain products that meet the quality, quantity required and in the required time. Chapter 2, the company under study belongs to the metalworking sector, dedicated to the manufacture of metal parts and pieces required by the mining and construction sectors; The analysis of efficiency was addressed through production carried out on time between planned production, obtaining a productive efficiency of 78.37% for 2022, the first reason being unproductive times due to excessive stops due to set up, stops due to the absence of tools and stoppages. due to breakdowns; Also, a second reason was analyzed associated with manufacturing reprocessing due to omission of process steps and out-of-measure parts; setting objectives, such as achieving the goal productive efficiency of 85%. Chapter 3, the linking of SMED, standardized work and autonomous maintenance is developed. The sequential use of a 3-phase model is proposed. Four indicators are established such as Efficiency, Availability, MTBF and Quality Rate; finally, we consider the implementation budget, which amounts to S/. 25,162. Chapter 4, using the “Arena” simulation program we validate the proposal, finally, we determine that the project is viable and we represent the non-economic impacts.
