The project presented has been developed with the purpose of proposing a solution to the Farmacias Peruanas company, the largest pharmacy chain in Peru, regards to the problematic that its area warehouse faces. The development of this project bases on the inventory management process for logistics area, which is a critical process, since of the limitations and deficiencies of the current application is generating significant economic losses. The finality of the project is propose the development of a web application, considering the improvements in the identified critical points, also the inclusion of an interface that interacts with information recorded by the external mobile apk and an inventory reporting module, these latter two points do not exist in the current application. With the new web application, we want to reduce operational errors, information errors, etc. and in this way we can have exactly, online and timely information, which leads to management to make better decisions. For the development of the web application, the modeling of the AS IS/TO BE process will be used, using the BPMN notation for the design of the solution, in addition the definition of functional and non-functional requirements will give us a guide of the user expectations. Likewise, the system use cases modeling that will describe the development of the solution, the application of tests and the project validation through different statistical tables. Finally, the PMBOK® Guide will be used to organize the management of the project.
