This work aims to analyze the current situation of the company Niubiz and its open card payment solution in public transport. Niubiz, a leading acquisition company in the Peruvian market, implemented this innovative solution, enabling more than 500 POS in 7 formal transportation companies to start the pilot of this project. The benefits of this solution are based on the optimization of time, both for the user in their daily life and for the transport company because it helps optimize the flow of their operation, in turn, it offers secure payments with international contactless standards of brands like Visa and MasterCard. It is worth remembering that this solution also contributes to formalizing and banking the income generated in this sector and impacting the development of the country. The product is currently still on a growth curve, which is why it needs new objectives and strategies grounded in the current reality and the needs of the new post-pandemic consumer, which will be developed in this report. We have the opportunity to develop different marketing and communication strategies that have the challenge of changing user habits by minimizing the use of cash in transportation and taking advantage of new trends towards digitalization, positively impacting the quality of life of all users. Lima residents and in the future good usage practices can be adopted as they already exist in other large metropolises.
