The purpose of this research is to establish the relationship between working environment and job satisfaction of the employees in Human Resources Departments of public institutions that collect non-property taxes in Cercado de Lima, 2022. In the study, it was considered for the analysis five dimensions of working environment: self-realization, job involvement, supervision, communication and working conditions, and as specific objectives it has been proposed to analyze the relationship between each of these dimensions with job satisfaction. To achieve the main objective, a sample of 154 employees in Human Resources Departments of public institutions that collect non-property taxes in Cercado de Lima was collected, using Sonia Palma Carrillo’s surveys to measure both variables (CL-SPC and SL-SPC, respectively), adapted to the study population, which contain 29 questions with a Likert-type scale for the working environment variable and 21 for the job satisfaction variable. This survey was validated by experts prior to its application. On the other hand, this research follows a quantitative methodology, has a non-experimental cross-sectional design, and is a descriptive-correlational type of study. Finally, after analyzing the correlation between working environment and job satisfaction using Spearman's Rho coefficient, an Rs coefficient of 0.845 (p < 0.001) was obtained, meaning that there is a direct and significant relationship (very strong) between working environment and job satisfaction of the study sample.
