Throughout our research work, we seek to explain the “NIA 315“ and its impact on the planning stage of the control environment in the “Municipal Savings and Credit Banks“ located in Metropolitan Lima, in the year 2020. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic began worldwide. In Peru, it began in March 2020. Given this, the “Peruvian Government“ restricted economic activities and established economic support programs for the population and companies located in the country. However, the Peruvian economy was affected, which is evidenced by the contraction of the GDP. In the present work, we approach the descriptions of our independent and dependent variables, dimensions, and the environment. The same ones that will allow us to describe the research problem, the explanation, and its background. Likewise, we present the operationalization of the variables and their methodological design. For our qualitative and quantitative research, we applied in-depth interviews and surveys to internal and external auditors who worked in a “Municipal Savings and Credit Bank“ during 2020. Finally, we evaluated the results through statistical methods and performed the conclusions and recommendations to generate added value to these entities.
