The purpose of this research work is focused on the implementation of the autonomous and planned pillars of the Total Productive Maintenance methodology, in order to reduce unproductive times due to stops and incorrect adjustment in the expandable shaft mechanism, limiting the availability of the machinery of the dosing and packaging stations of the soluble line gourmets of a coffee company in Peru. For the development, the data was obtained from the production records of the last 3 years, where the availability indicator is 80.91% and must be at 90%. However, after implementation there is an increase of 8.5% for the availability indicator. Therefore, the application of the TPM through the analysis and development of maintenance strategies continuously and with the participation of operators in non-complex routine activities will contribute to reduce the technical gap and increase the rate of target availability outlined in this research work.
