The objective was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Proactive Personality Scale. The sample was 302 teachers from schools in Lima (Peru). The results indicate that the Proactive Personality Scale was adjusted to a unifactorial structure (2 = 95.32, gl = 35, 2/gl = 2.72, CFI = .949, TLI = .934, RMSEA = .076 y SRMR = .044), convergent validity is evidenced with feelings of self-efficacy and presents adequate internal consistency (.89). It is concluded that the Proactive Personality Scale is an instrument that has evidence of validity and reliability.
