The objective of this research was to find out the relationship between perceived discrimination and Attitudinal Beliefs about suicidal behavior in 164 people from the LGBT Community (36 lesbians, 43 gays, 80 bisexuals and 5 transsexuals; Age = 25.70 years). Likewise, perceived discrimination and attitudinal beliefs about suicidal behavior were compared between some sociodemographic variables (sexual orientation, age, level of education, district of origin). The study was carried out from a quantitative, non-experimental and correlational design. The Scale of Perceived Discrimination in the LGBT Community and the Spanish version of the Scale of Attitudinal Beliefs on Suicidal Behavior CCCS-18 were administered. The results show that the greater the perceived group discrimination, the greater the propensity towards own suicide (r= 0.19, p<.01). On the other hand, there are no statistically significant differences based on the difficulty in confessing their sexual orientation. The study confirms that transsexual people are more exposed to perceived individual and group discrimination. It is concluded that group discrimination has a weak relationship with suicide.
