The commercial performance of a company is measured according to the level of service of meeting the demand of its customers. In the case of distribution and marketing SMEs, this is directly associated with proper inventory and warehouse management. Because it’s main processes and activities are developed in this area. The case study focuses on the application of the Lean Warehousing methodology through demand forecasts, storage methodologies, warehouse redistribution and standardization of packing and stowage processes to increase the level of service, based on the indicators of perfect order, of an SME retailer of retail products. The contribution, unlike other investigations, is the integration of all these techniques in a single model, so that it covers the main causes of the problem, and adding a proposal for the stowage process, a topic very little studied in the literature. The analysis of the diagnosis showed that the current service level of the company was 87.31%, this is due to the fact that some orders of the XYZ brand are not attended correctly, which has generated costs for penalties and rejections of 11.04% of the annual turnover of the main products of this brand in 2019. It is expected that, with this methodology, the company's service level will reach at least 95%, which is the minimum to be in the conditions suitable to satisfy customer requirements.
