This research project aims to determine if the digital transformation strategy has a positive influence on the personal development process in the Peruvian mining sector, during the Health Emergency (COVID-19), 2021. The design of the research will be of a non-experimental type of a transversal type. The scope of the research will be explanatory. Likewise, the methodology of this study is quantitative, the Likert-type survey and questionnaire are used as a technique. The type of research according to its extrinsic objective is applied. The reliability of the instrument was determined through Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient (0.946) that is, data collection is excellent and the instrument was validated by an expert judge. From a population of 626 mining units that exploit metals and non-metals with a representative of the Human Resources area, the simple probabilistic sampling technique was used, a sample of 239 collaborators from the People Management area was obtained. According to the statistical test of chi squared, it was observed that the level of significance is 0.00 (0,000 < 0.05) it can be affirmed the existence of an influence of the independent variable (X) “Digital Transformation Strategy“ and dependent (Y) “Staff Development“.
