Today, one of the great problems facing our country is the poor diet of school children receive from their parents, that is caused by a lack of nutrient-rich foods, and preferably by children. This problem leads children to suffer from anemia and deficit in their physical and mental development, caused by the consumption of foods with high sugar, sodium and preservatives that parents buy for them without knowing that they are harmful to their health. Usually these products are treats and snacks that parents buy for getting out of trouble, however they do not bring any nutritional benefit to their children. That is why in this work we have developed a business plan based on the creation of Yimpy Gummies, which are characterized by being healthy, nutritious and good taste, since they are made based on Cushuro, which is an Andean algae rich in iron and calcium; and natural fruits, that contain vitamins. Our goal is for children to incorporate this product into their daily consumption and healthy diet in their lunchboxes, sensing it as a fun rich product to consume. On the other hand, we want to have a social impact that contributes to reducing their malnutrition in our country and positively impact, not only in terms of our; but to the cushuro producing communities and other stakeholders.
