Abstract: La investigación “Satisfacción Laboral de Obreros y Personal Técnico de una
empresa de Construcción de Piura” tuvo como objetivo general determinar las
diferencias de la satisfacción laboral en obreros y personal técnico de una empresa de
construcción de Piura, con una metodología de tipo sustantiva y diseño descriptivo, no
experimental, de corte transversal siendo un estudio comparativo, aplicando un
muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia o intencional para 100 trabajadores, 50
personal técnico y 50 personal obrero, tomando el cuestionario de satisfacción laboral
de Sonia Palma Carrillo (2004), SL-SPC que mide cuatro dimensiones como la
significación de la tarea, las condiciones de trabajo, el reconocimiento personal y/o
social y los beneficios económicos. La prueba de fiabilidad arrojó 0.904 y 0.922 para la
muestra de técnicos y obreros, respectivamente, indicando que el instrumento tenía una
muy alta consistencia interna. Los resultados señalan que sí existen diferencias entre los
grados de satisfacción del personal obrero que muestran, general, una mayor
satisfacción laboral que el personal técnicos casi en todas las dimensiones excepto en la
de reconocimiento personal y/o social donde el personal técnico mostró mayores niveles
de satisfacción.
