This research work was carried out at Campus II of the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, located in the Barraza sector of the Laredo district in Trujillo region freedom. The objective was to determine the effect of three doses of biol on the development and production of the onion crop (Allium cepa L.) in the Santa Catalina Valley. The variety that used was Arequipa red onion. The experimental design used was a blocked randomly controlled trail, with four treatment and four repetitions, in an area of 172 m2. The statistics evaluated were plant height, number of leaves, bulb weight in kg (projected at t/ha) and bulb diameter. The results obtained in the investigation show that on average the largest diameter of the bulb was reached by the T3 treatment (3 m3 biol/ha) with an average of 55.28 mm, surpassing the T0 treatment (control) with an average of 35.1 mm, statistically, for the bulb diameter parameter, treatment 3 (3m3 biol / ha) exceeds the control with 157.5%, in addition to in the bulb weight parameter, the one that gained was the T3 treatment (3 m3 biol/ha) with an average weight of 8.5 kg/5 m2, which taken to hectare 16.97 t/ha, surpassing the T0 Treatment (control) which obtained an average weight of 2.7 kg/5 m2, carried at a weight per hectare of 5.4 t/ha, Statistically, for the bulb weight parameter, treatment T3 (3m3 biol / ha) exceeds the control with 314.3%
