The objective of the present research was to determine the correlation that exists between virtual teaching and the learning styles of the students of the first semester of the study programs of the specialty of health of an Institute of Technological Higher Education of Trujillo in the semester 2020-II; with a basic correlational design; it evaluated a population of 22 students; using two instruments, the MEVIRCDB and the Kolb's Learning Styles Inventory Test; the results showed that the M. Synchronous and Learning Styles, has a relationship with High Significance (p<.01) inverse and in medium degree, with the Active-Accommodator Style, however there is no relationship (p>.05) with the Theoretical-Divergent Style. In the Asynchronous and the Learning Styles, it has a Significant relationship (p<.05) direct and in medium degree, with the Active-Acommodator Style; and it has no relationship (p>.05) with the remaining styles. And the Mixed and the Learning Styles, has a relationship with High Significance (p<.01) inverse and in medium degree, with the Active-Acommodator Style; and direct and in medium degree, with the ReflexiveAssimilating style, but no relationship (p>.05) is found with the remaining styles. Concluding that some learning styles in the students have a significant relationship and alternate depending on the teaching method (Synchronous, Mixed and Asynchronous), also that in some cases the methods and styles have no relationship.
