Abstract: Las emergencias en mujeres en etapa perinatal están vinculadas con estrés
extremo, ansiedad y depresión que se ven incrementada en la actualidad por la pandemia del
COVID-19. Todo esto lleva consigo que, a las mujeres gestantes, al feto y a las personas
cercanas a estas puede presentar consecuencias negativas. Al ser empleado de manera
adecuada las redes sociales tendrán una mayor utilidad para el soporte de las mujeres que se
encuentran en esta etapa de su vida como es la maternidad. Este trabajo expone el papel de
las redes sociales como sostén de las gestantes y madres con depresión, específicamente en
esta etapa de emergencias como es la pandemia del COVID-19.
MATERIAL Y METODO: Se hizo una revisión bibliográfica de los últimos años, incluyendo
revisiones, artículos de investigación. Se buscó en la base de datos Pubmed con el sistema
MeSH. Las palabras de búsqueda fueron inicialmente (Depression perinatal or ansiedad
perinatal or salud public or facebook or medio de comunicacion or redes sociales) and (COVID
19 or SARS COV 2).
RESULTADO: El número de resultados de búsqueda preliminar fue de 121 resultados los
cuales finalmente fueron seleccionado 22 artículos. Es primordial disciplinar a las madres con
la alfabetización digital, que abarque la utilización eficaz de las redes sociales para una
correcta toma de decisiones. Ya que aportan a la salud y al confort familiar al favorecer la
interacción social, la búsqueda de ayuda, ejecutar variaciones en la forma de cómo lleva su
vida y ayudar de esta manera a la investigación científica.
CONCLUSIÓN: Es de vital importancia que las madres en etapa perinatal sean educadas y
sensibilizadas adecuadamente cuando realicen búsquedas en Internet, para una correcta
toma de decisiones sobre la salud de su hijo y sobre las de ella misma, donde se debe tener
en cuenta el uso eficaz de las redes, como sostén socioemocional y la evaluación de la calidad
de la información que estas páginas están brindando a la madre, la cual se encuentra
disponible para cualquier persona en diversas plataformas del Internet

This work exposes the role of social networks as support for pregnant women and mothers with depression, specifically in this stage of emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The search words were initially (Depression perinatal or ansiedad perinatal or salud public or facebook or medio de comunicacion or redes sociales) and (COVID 19 or SARS COV 2). It is essential to discipline mothers with digital literacy, which encompasses the effective use of social networks for correct decision-making. Since they contribute to family health and comfort by promoting social interaction, the search for help, executing variations in the way he leads his life and thus helping scientific research. CONCLUSION: It is vitally important that mothers in the perinatal stage are adequately educated and sensitized when searching on the Internet, for correct decision-making about the health of their child and about her own, where the effective use of the networks, as socio emotional support and the evaluation of the quality of the information that these pages are providing to the mother, which is available to anyone on various Internet platforms.
