to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and dengue prevention measures in adolescents in the El Muyo populated center and its surroundings, Bagua Amazonas; January – April 2023. Method: analytical and cross-sectional observational study. The sample was 164 adolescents between 12 and 17 years old from the El Muyo town center and its surroundings. The type of technique used was the survey and checklist, the instruments were used to measure knowledge about dengue and evaluate dengue prevention measures. Results: 20.1% of adolescents present a high level of knowledge, this percentage being higher in those who present adequate practices of preventive measures. Likewise, 11.6% present a low level of knowledge, this percentage being higher in those who present inadequate preventive measures. In addition, 68.3% of adolescents present a medium level of knowledge. On the other hand, there is 4.9% of cases with the presence of larvae in the homes of adolescents. Conclusion: there is a highly significant relationship between the variables, adolescents with inadequate knowledge have 0.3 times more risk of having inadequate measures and contracting the disease, as well as adolescents who live in native communities are 4.1 times more likely to have inadequate preventive measures and contract the disease.
