Estudio de las características físicas y mecánicas de los agregados de la cantera Caballo Muerto para fines de control de calidad en concreto y pavimentación

Abstract

La presente tesis fue realizado en la cantera Caballo Muerto ubicado en el distrito de Laredo, Provincia de Trujillo, Departamento de La Libertad, la cual abastece de agregado a la ciudad de Laredo y alrededores para fines de concreto y pavimentación. Se obtuvieron los agregados de la cantera obtenidos de 8 calicatas, de las cuales de 4 se obtuvo agregado grueso y agregado fino y de las otras 4 se obtuvo afirmado, las cuales fueron llevadas al Laboratorio con la finalidad de obtener sus propiedades físicas y mecánicas. Se efectuaron 5 ensayos para el agregado grueso, 8 ensayos para el agregado fino y 5 ensayos para el afirmado, con procedimientos de acuerdo con el Manual de Ensayo de Materiales, 2016, los resultados finales nos mostraron que tanto el afirmado como el agregado de la cantera Caballo Muerto son de buena calidad, por lo tanto, son aptos para utilizarse en concreto y pavimentación.

This thesis was carried out in the Caballo Muerto quarry located in the district of Laredo, Trujillo Province, Department of La Libertad, which supplies aggregate to the city of Laredo and its surroundings for concrete and paving purposes. The quarry aggregates obtained from 8 pits were obtained, of which 4 coarse aggregate and fine aggregate were obtained and of the other 4 they were obtained affirmed, which were taken to the Laboratory to obtain their physical and mechanical properties. 5 tests were carried out for the coarse aggregate, 8 tests for the fine aggregate and 5 tests for the affirmed, with procedures according to the Materials Testing Manual, 2016, the results showed us that both the affirmed and the aggregate of the Caballo Muerto quarry are of good quality, therefore, they are suitable used for concrete and paving.
