Abstract: Objetivo: Determinar que los hallazgos clínicos de hiperandrogenismo Acné,
Alopecia e Hirsutismo, se asocian al lesbianismo en mujeres de la Ciudad de Trujillo.
Material y Método: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo cualitativo, analítico y
observacional de cohorte comparativo. Se aplicó la prueba estadística de proporciones
de distribución normal, con nivel de significancia del 5%. La población de estudio
estuvo constituida por 200 mujeres: 100 mujeres lesbianas y 100 mujeres no lesbianas
de 18 a 65 años de edad de la ciudad de Trujillo, que voluntariamente aceptaron ser
parte del estudio de conformidad a los criterios de inclusión.
Resultados: La frecuencia del Acné es 21% en mujeres lesbianas y 14% en no
lesbianas; la frecuencia de la Alopecia es 10% en mujeres lesbianas y 6% en no
lesbianas; la frecuencia de Hirsutismo es 5% en mujeres lesbianas y 2% en no
lesbianas, considerándose de baja significancia estadística p>0.05.
La obesidad central como indicador antropométrico es más frecuente en mujeres
lesbianas 49% que en mujeres no lesbianas 19%, manifestándose alta significancia
estadística p< 0.001.
Conclusión: El Acné, la Alopecia y el Hirsutismo no se asocian de forma
significativa al lesbianismo en mujeres de la Ciudad de Trujillo; estos hallazgos son
más frecuentes en mujeres lesbianas que en mujeres no lesbianas.
La “Obesidad Central es un factor asociado al hiperandrogenismo del lesbianismo en
mujeres de la ciudad de Trujillo; su frecuencia es mayor y significativa en mujeres
lesbianas.
