Determine the level of knowledge and attitudes of women of reproductive age about the Pap test in Friendship Hospital Santa Rosa Korea Peru Piura in the period January-February 2015. METHODOLOGY This work is descriptive, case series, prospective and cross. The survey was used as a technique and an instrument of data collection questionnaire, which was administered to 200 women aged 15 to 35 years RESULT: We interviewed 200 women, 40 and 54% had high average level of knowledge respectively; 98% favorably. While 6% had a low level of knowledge with a 2% unfavorable attitude. CONCLUSION: For the present study we can conclude, in knowledge, attitudes and practices, less than 60% of respondents showed low and middle levels. Importantly, in our study, the highest level of knowledge was related to the pro-PAP test (98%) attitude. Among other findings, it was shown that the higher the level of education (90% of women with secondary and higher), and occupation (52% of the working MEF) were more likely to have higher levels of knowledge and a positive attitude. There diffusion on Pap tests by the media, health institutions, schools. And the limitations of many women to Pap tests are mainly psychological. The highest percentage of the MEF have an income of 500-1000 soles, 69%, 10%> of 1500 suns and 21% <550 soles indicating that they have resources for PAP test to be performed.
