A correlational study between occupational wear and stress coping strategies in drivers of a Trujillo taxi company has been carried out. To do this, a sample of 205 male drivers, ranging in age from 23 to 60 years, from a taxi company in Trujillo, using the Occupational Despair Scale (EDO) and the Inventory Of Coping Responses for Adults - CRI-A The results show that, in terms of Occupational Deterioration, a mean level in general and in its dimensions predominates in the students evaluated, with percentages of students that register this level ranging from 46.5% to 61.2%; And an average level of coping responses in general and in its dimensions, with percentages ranging from 43.5% to 54.6%. Regarding relational analysis, a very significant, negative correlation was found between Exhaustion and the dimensions Search for guidance and support, Problem solving, Acceptance and resignation and Emotional discharge; And significant, negative, with the dimensions Positive revaluation and Search for alternative rewards. There was also a very significant negative correlation between Depersonalization and the dimensions Logical analysis, Positive revaluation, Guidance and support search, Problem solving, Cognitive avoidance, Acceptance and resignation and Search for alternative rewards; A very significant, negative correlation, Achievement Dissatisfaction and Dimensions Positive Revaluation, Guidance and Support Search, Problem Solving, Alternative Reward Search and Emotional Discharge; And a very significant, negative correlation between the psychosomatic dimension and the dimensions Logical analysis, Positive revaluation, Guidance and support search, Problem solving, Cognitive avoidance, Acceptance and resignation and Search for alternative rewards
