The present study aimed to determine the relationship between the need for orthodontic treatment and quality of life in adolescents aged 11 to 14 years. The type of study is observational. In the study results, no relationship was found between the need for treatment and quality of life in adolescents aged 11 to 14 years. We found a minimum malocclusion of 47,143%. These were classified to not require orthodontic treatment, moderate malocclusion was 19,286% elective treatment, severe malocclusion was 21,714% highly desirable treatment, 12,857% require orthodontic treatment. With regard to the quality of life of adolescents from 11 to 14 years of age. We find that the average is 35.94 (DE 8.98). The relationship between the need for orthodontic treatment and the quality of life in adolescents between 11 and 14 years of age, according to sex, found that there is no significant relationship. It is concluded that there is no relationship between the need for orthodontic treatment and quality of life in adolescents.
