This study is experimental type whose objective was to compare vitro microleakage in the apical seal of root canal endodontic resin cements using Epoxy (Adseal) and based calcium hydroxide (Sealapex). Were collected monoradiculars premolars 42 recently extracted for the study which was perfomed in root canal treatment and preparation with two cement various endodontic, splitting into 4 groups: Group A consisting of monoradiculars premolars 17 with cement-based resin endodontic Epoxy (Adseal), Group B consisting of monoradiculars premolars 17 calcium hydroxide-based (Sealapex), Group C monoradiculars positive control consisting of premolars 4 that were instrumented parts without seal and permeable 2mm more apical and finally the Group D negative control consisting of monoradiculars premolars 4 is implemented them proofed with nail lacquer in its entirety. All the pieces were immersed in Chinese ink and then they were subjected to the process of diaphanization according to the technique of Robertson. Cement based_resin endodontic epoxy (Adseal) presented an average of 1.28mm and deviation standard of 0.49 and endodontic cement calcium hydroxide (Sealapex) showed an average of 1.94 and deviation standard of 0.51. Concluding that there is less microleakage with cement-based resin endodontic Epoxy (Adseal) unlike cement endodontic-based calcium hydroxide (Sealapex).
