The present thesis research is carried out in the process of responding to Personal Credit requests that are derived to Centralized Evaluation of a Banking Institution of Peru. The reason for the investigation is to minimize the variability in the time of attention of derivation of requests, to reduce the costs of executing the derivation process and to increase the Personal Credit placements, which are reflected in the internal and external customer dissatisfaction. At present, organizations either of services or production, seek the satisfaction of their customers by meeting quality requirements for attention and response times. For this, it is necessary to eliminate activities that do not add value to the process and reduce the variability in process times. The present research work contains 5 chapters, which I will describe below: The first chapter describes the theoretical framework where concepts related to process management, process improvement, the Lean Six Sigma methodology and its statistical tools are developed. In the second chapter the description of the Banking Institution is presented, the product that generates the greatest impact, the resources and the way in which the derivation to Centralized Evaluation is executed. In addition, the problem is identified and the root causes are defined through statistical and quality tools. In the third chapter the improvement proposal is developed, using Lean Six Sigma tools. Additionally, it verifies that it optimizes the input variables of the process and its continuous improvement. In the fourth chapter the economic evaluation is developed, where the financial impact that benefits the internal and external customer and the Banking Institution is determined. Finally, the fifth chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations to which it arrives according to what was researched in the thesis.
