Cellular telephony in the city of Iquitos has four operators: Movistar, Claro, Bitel and Entel. Of these, Movistar has approximately 50% of the market based on the hegemony of the Telefónica del Perú SAA company. The Claro operator ranks second thanks to the greater coverage, followed by Bitel, which is a young company since it has only a few years in the market, but with a rapid growth, based on economic rates and good service. The fourth place is for Entel that has just entered the local market. The objective of the present master's thesis is to analyze the plans contracted in mobile telephony of Movistar Iquitos, in the period 2013 - 2017. Therefore, we conducted the recent study in a descriptive way and a non-experimental approach, considering the types of plans contracted, the number of plans, as well as the monetary value, and the delinquency incurred by customers. The behavior of delinquency is also analyzed. In relation to the type of plans, there are basically two: pre-payment and post-payment. Regarding the number of plans, most clients contracted pre-payment, reaching a total of 12,261,841.00; equivalent to 88.38% of total plans. The post-payment plans were only 1,612,021.00 and represented 11.62%. A different situation is found when analyzing the monetary values of each plan; Here, the first place is occupied by post-payment plans that reached the amount of S /. 118,733,200.00 representing 53.58% of the total value, while the pre-payments reached a total of S /. 102,873,389.00 (46.42% of the total). In addition, it was observed that the pre- paid plans had a variable behavior during the series under study, having grown the first three years from 2,134,632.00 contracts in 2013 to 2,628,696.00 in 2015, and then contracting in the following two years, closing the year 2017 with 2,464,545.00 contracts. Late payment was associated with the post-payment plans, since the pre-payment do not have the service if they do not recharge beforehand; that is to say, the very nature of pre-paid plans means that they do not fall into arrears. Late payment had a decreasing behavior year after year, having reached the sum of S /. 1,197,957.60 in 2013 to then finish the year 2017 with the amount of S /. 926,448.60.
