The elaboration of a technical Dossier of a PQUA is fundamental since through the requirements presented in the Andean Technical Manual for the Registration and Control of Chemical Pesticides for Agricultural Use, it is possible to know at a chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological level the molecule to be recorded. Currently, the preparation of a Technical Dossier is regulated by Decision 804 of the Andean Community (2019), contained in the annex that is part of Resolution No. 2075, which is based on adopting the Andean Technical Manual for Registration. and Control of Chemical Pesticides for Agricultural Use. The registration process involves an evaluation, which is based on compliance with the requirements demanded by the authority. SENASA is in charge of evaluating agronomic aspects and technical specifications and, in turn, relies on two other Public Organizations such as the General Directorate of Environmental Health (DIGESA) of the Ministry of Health to evaluate aspects of human toxicology and the General Directorate of Agrarian Environmental Affairs. (DGAAA) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, which is in charge of evaluating environmental aspects. SENASA will base its decision, whether or not to grant the National Registration Certificate for a chemical pesticide for agricultural use, on the favorable Technical Reports: Agronomic, Toxicological and Environmental, issued by the authorities responsible for the evaluation.
