Pea cultivation is the third most important grain legume as a dry grain, and its cultivation for green grain has been increasing in the last 15th years. In this study, the behavior of the variety INIA 103 Remate is evaluated with the aim of evaluating the effects of inoculation with Rhizobium strain 3063 on this crop and the planting density under La Molina conditions. The experiment consisted of the study of two factors: density (3 levels) and the use of N (3 levels) under completely tsar block design with 9 treatments and three repetitions. Sowing was done in May 1999 and the green pod harvest was in August. The results show that no statistical significance was found for the green grain yield for the factors under study: plant density and use of nitrogen fertilizer sources; however, yields in green beans with the density D3 and use of inoculant were the highest (3,820 kg/ha), but there are no statistical differences between the treatments evaluated. Regarding inoculation with Rhizobium strain 3063, it can be seen that the dry weights of nodules, number of nodules at flowering and diameter of the nodules were higher with the sowing density D2 distances of 0.32 m between strokes of the Remate variety pea. Among the yield components, high statistical significance was found for pods/plant. Finally, statistical significance was found for the number of nodules/plant in this study. For the number of nodules/plant there are no statistical differences between the D3 and D2 densities; In the same way, for the number of nodules there were no differences between the application of nitrogen and inoculation with the bacterium, and for the diameter of the nodules there were no significant differences between the density D2 and D3 evaluated in the Remate variety.
