This research is about the comparison between the Modules of Elasticity of clays normally consolidated in natural state and remodeled state. Four samples were extracted from the following provinces of Peru: Lima, Satipo, Picota and Arequipa (mountain range zone), with the purpose of making a comparison between the two aforementioned states of the Modules of Elasticity that this type of clays present in the 3 Peruvian regions. The following laboratory tests were carried out: Standard tests (moisture content, granulometry by the hydrometer method, limits of consistency and specific gravity of the solids) and special test (consolidation), the tests were carried executed to the Peruvian Technical Standards. The standard tests were carried out to identify the lands that satisfy the following parameters: Specific gravity between 2.70-2.75, Liquid Limit lower than 50% and a SUCS classification of CL (Clays between low to medium plasticity), the special test (consolidation) was performed to obtain the unit deformation (elastoplastic deformation). The following concepts are used to obtain the Modules of Elasticity of the 4 samples in both states: Elastic rebound, Saint Venant elastoplastic model and the onedimensional consolidation of Terzagui. Based on the aforementioned concepts, an artifice was made in the Consolidation curve (Normal Effort Ratio (σ) vs. Unitary Deformation (εep)), which consists of converting recharge curves, through repetitions, into hysteretics that tend to a straight line, Once this is done, it will be transferred as a tangent to the consolidation curve starting from point 0 (Point where the soil sample has not undergone any deformation). Once the hysteresis has been transferred, it will serve to divide the unit deformation (elastoplastic deformation) into plastic deformation and elastic deformation. Obtained this elastic deformation it was possible to obtain and compare the Modules of Elasticity in both states by means a formula.
