A trial was conducted in the CañeteValley-Lima, between of november-may 2013-2014. Dry matter production (DM) and mineral absorption during the life cycle of escabeche pepper (Capsicumbaccatum var. pendulum) were determined. A RCBD with four replications was used. Treatments evaluated were four fertilization level. Five plant samples were taken every 36 days. Higher DM production was obtained with T3 (9017,52 kg ha-1). Nutrient extraction in T3 was 201 Kg ha-1 ofN; 24,44 Kg ha-1 of P; 331,70 Kg ha-1 of K; 108,66 Kg ha-1 ofCa; 31,03 Kg ha-1of Mg; 28,72 Kg ha-1 of S; y 1,96 Kg ha-1of B; 1,72Kg ha-1of Cu; 9,93 Kg ha-1 of Fe; 1,39 Kg ha-1 of Mn; and 1,23 Kg ha-1 of Zn. The highest total yield was 59.79t ha-1, in the same treatment.
