This research focuses on the analysis of Argentina's macroeconomics for the period 1960- 2020 from an institutional perspective. Institutions are understood as the set of norms and rules governing interactions among society's agents. These can be categorized as political and economic, and they influence the economic outcomes of countries. The present study aims to highlight the relationship between inefficient political and economic institutions and the poor economic outcomes observed from 1960 to 2020. Frequent disruptions in political and short-term economic institutions are believed to have resulted in events such as financial crises, hyperinflation, and defaults.
