The present research thesis posed the problem: Do litigants and lawyers with disabilities have relevant mechanisms and facilities for reading their file? The main objective was to analyze whether litigants and lawyers with disabilities have relevant mechanisms and facilities for reading their file. The research on the non-compliance with the right to accommodation of persons with disabilities in civil proceedings is important because it seeks to guarantee and protect the rights of persons with disabilities in the judicial sphere. By identifying deficiencies in the application of the right to accommodation, measures can be proposed to ensure compliance and avoid discrimination and exclusion. The research is of a quantitative type and descriptive approach, with a non-experimental and transectional or cross-sectional design. The population consisted of the trial lawyers of the Loreto Bar Association. The sample consisted of 95 lawyers of the Loreto Bar Association, to whom the respective survey was applied. The statistical test was the Chi-square. The research concluded that litigants and lawyers with disabilities do not have all the relevant mechanisms and facilities for reading their files, because they have not implemented interpretation services or documents in accessible formats, such as sign language interpreters, screen readers and documents.
