A study was carried out to verify the relationship between social anxiety and its relationship with neurothycism, social skills and self-esteem in a group of 108 adolescents from the District of Belen, Iquitos, 2020. To sequentially verify this relationship, a multiple linear regression model was applied. As linear regression is based on correlation first, to ensure the origin of designing a regression process, the respective correlations between the variables considered in the study were established. Significant correlations greater than 0.90 were found between social anxiety and self-esteem (0.95), social anxiety and social skills (0.947), social anxiety and neuroticism (0.945). In addition, the existence in the sample of significant differences in social anxiety depending on sex was investigated, and no significant differences in social anxiety were found according to sex. No significant differences were found in the sample based on neuroticism. No study variable was discarded by the regression program, which indicates an internal consistency of the same, that is, they maintain a congruent type of relationship. A very high Rcuadrado (0.943) was found, which means that the model explains 94% of the three variables. The Durbin Watson coefficient told us that the model cannot be generalized. The ANOVA found is significant (,000) which confirms that in the assumed model the data are not due to chance. In summary, it was found that neuroticism is a variable strongly associated with anxiety and that this single variable explains much of the social anxiety (R square, 894). It indicates a high predictive capacity of neuroticism with respect to social anxiety). Social Skills were found to be the second major component of social anxiety. For this reason, social skills when exercised competently and nonconflictively tend to control manifestations of anxiety. Self-esteem was found to be the third predictive component of social anxiety. A person with adequate and positive self- esteem is a person with a clear awareness of their value as a person and worker, they are not conflictive, on the contrary they are a capable and collaborative person, away from conflicts. In summary, neuroticism is an important variable within social anxiety and as neuroticism increases, anxiety increases. That is, social anxiety operates as a socially accepted discharge channel of neuroticism. In statistical terms, the model fits perfectly with the purposes of the study and considers in valid terms the 3 predictors considered in the following order of importance in: First of all neuroticism. Secondly, social skills. Thirdly, self-esteem. By way of conclusion: First of all we must emphasize that the average scores found in the four study variables are extremely high, which indicates that the group in reference has a very remarkable performance in the areas considered. Secondly, it should be mentioned that the correlation found between the variables is extremely high, which means a strong relationship of association between them, unfortunately these circumstances lead in some cases to multicollinearity which means which variables that share similar aspects tend to be contaminated by altering the correlation found. Thirdly, it was found that the sex variable does not have greater significance within the study since no differences have been found in terms of sex for the variables social anxiety, neuroticism, social skills and self-esteem. The age variable was not considered directly in the study due to the dispersion of the scores, since subjected to the Kolmogorov Smirnov test was discarded since the distribution of the scores in this variable was irregular and parametric studies could not be applied. The regression process carried out did not consider the exclusion of any of the variables considered, which is why these variables were considered to be quite homogeneous and consistent with the study. The low coefficient found in the Durbing test - Watson points out that the study will hardly be able to be generalized to populations different from the one that was applied. This is probably a consequence of the high scores found in the different variables and the high correlations found between them, which is a rather exceptional phenomenon and that can hardly be repeated in similar research. The value of the Anova (0.000) found is highly significant which would indicate that the scores are not due to chance or are the result of a bad grade. The conclusions of the case and the respective suggestions were raised.
