The present study carried out corresponds to a quantitative - descriptive investigation in a probabilistic sample of 56 students of the Educational Institution No. 60089 “Campo Serio“. The same one that presents as objective to determine the predominant levels of environmental awareness of the students of Secondary Education of the Educational Institution No. 60089 “Campo Serio“ of the district of Torres Causana, province of Maynas. The research was of the basic type, descriptive level. The sample consisted of 56 Secondary Education students (25 from the 4th year and 31 from the 5th year) from Educational Institution No. 60089. For this, the survey technique was used with its instrument, the survey questionnaire, which was made reliable and validated before its application. It has been determined that the cognitive environmental awareness of the students prevails at a good level, which represents 44.64%, likewise in reference to the behavioral dimension, although it reaches 48.21% of the total of those evaluated, there is a large percentage of students who have to improve their attitude towards caring for the environment, finding that 28.57% are indifferent, added to 23.21% that show little or bad attitude in caring for the environment.
