Introduction: The male condom is the only temporary birth control method for men that effectively reduces the spread of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV / AIDS. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about the use of the male condom in adolescents who attend the IPRESS I-4 Requena, 2020. Methodology: Non-experimental quantitative study of descriptive and prospective design; whose sample consisted of 81 adolescents who attended the IPRESS I-4 Requena during the month of December 2020. Results: The results show that 51.9% of the adolescents had a good level of knowledge about the correct use of the male condom, followed by 28.4% of the regular level and only 19.8% had a poor level of knowledge; those under 14 had a lower frequency of good knowledge (18.2%, p = 0.076), there was no difference with sex (p = 0.478), 61.7% of the adolescents who began their sexual relations and have a sexual partner (p = 0.010) had a good level of knowledge; adolescents with one sexual partner (70.3%) had a higher frequency of a good level of knowledge than those with two (46.7%) or with more partners (50%) (p = 0.035) Conclusions: More than 50% of the adolescents of both sexes that attend the IPRESS I-4 of Requena have a good level of knowledge
