The research project called “Design of concrete-cement-sand made with the addition of the floodplain area of the Nanay River, quarry“ Santa Clara “, district of San Juan Bautista, Iquitos, 2021“, arises in response to meeting the need to know the properties and the appropriate design of the concrete mix made with floodplain aggregate, in the global context that we currently live in. This project was developed through Descriptive research, which presents characteristics of the aggregate and the concrete-cement mix design - sand (flood zone) with resistance of 175 kg / cm2, in this sense, to achieve the objectives, tests were carried out for the Mix design, also exploring the methodological variables in this type of study, addressing the related problem to find the answers. The results showed that the concrete obtained with aggregate from the floodplain area of the Nanay River, Cantera Santa Clara, commonly called “La Chacrita“, yields compressive strength values of f'c = 175 kg/ cm2, thus allowing its use.
