This Professional Sufficiency Work proposes an improvement Model to increase the OEE of a flexographic line through 5 S', Standardized Work and SMED, where the effective availability of the equipment determines the productive capacity of the industrial plant. The organization has 3 productive areas that add greater value to the final product, identifying that the printing area has its OEE indicator below the Latin American average and obtaining a Cpk value of 0.43. The components of the indicator are evaluated, defining that the availability of flexographic printing has a technical gap of 25%. According to the analyzes carried out in the printing area and in one of its lines, it is obtained that it incurs an OEE of 19% and an availability of 37%. This generated by the high unproductive times that occur during the activities of the process and economically impacting with 8% on the annual turnover of the organization. From the analysis work of the database provided by the company, the main reasons and causes that generate the high unproductive times that are evidenced in the decrease in the availability of the machines in the area were identified. For this reason, tools for improving the Lean Manufacturing methodology are proposed to address the root causes of the problem. Applying the Lean tools, it is possible to increase the availability of the area to 54%, consequently an improved OEE of 27% is obtained.
