The National Survey of Companies of 2015 confirmed that more than 99% of companies of Peru are MSEs, contributing the highest rate of employability. However, this segment only contribute 23.5% of GDP, due to its low levels of productivity and competitiveness; Therefore, it is essential to design models that serve as a guide for small entrepreneurs with the objective of increasing competitiveness and being sustainable, thus contributing to the development of the nation. This thesis proposes an operations management model, based on strategic, operational and quality management, applied in a MSE dedicated to the manufacture and sale of household goods. The objective of this research is to analyze the current operational management of the company through a global diagnosis of all its activities, then a conceptual model was designed according to the company that allows, through its implementation, a holistic administration of its operations. The implementation of the model in the Mype, at an economic level, is feasible and profitable, evaluated at five years. A synergy of productive, logistical, commercial, administrative and quality control activities was achieved, which improved competitiveness through increased productivity and profitability, and decreased waste.
