The last year of the medical degree consists of carrying out pre-professional practices, also called medical internships, it lasts 10 months and is an important part of the training of health personnel. The present work consists of 30 clinical cases collected during the 10 months of internship. The selected cases were the most significant for learning and critical reasoning. Objective: to report through clinical cases the course of the disease, presumptive and final diagnoses, complementary tests, treatment, prognosis and reflection. The cases were obtained during the medical internship at the ‘‘Centro de salud San Juan de Miraflores’’ and ‘‘Hospital de Emergencia de Villa El Salvador’’ during 2022-2023. Methodology: observational - descriptive study of 30 clinical cases collected during the months of June 2022 to March 2023. Main results or findings: based on 30 selected clinical cases during the medical internship at the ‘‘Centro de salud San Juan de Miraflores’’ and ‘‘Hospital de Emergencia de Villa El Salvador’’, it was possible to describe, analyze, diagnose and manage the various diseases. In addition, at the end of each case, a significant reflection is provided about the complexity and limitations that occurred during the medical care provided. Conclusions: the medical internship leaves a series of enriching lessons for the academic and working life of the future doctor, including medical patient treatment and critical thinking. On the other hand, due to the lack of medical equipment, laboratories, and medical personnel that many hospitals of the Ministry of Health have, one learns to optimize the resources available to provide timely and adequate management to improve the health status of patients.
