The objective of the present investigation was carried out to identify the sexual orientation and gender identity in the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, of the Andean University of Cusco 2019. The research method is quantitative, as well as descriptive, transversal and prospective. The population of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Andean University of Cusco 2019 has a total of 3616 enrolled students of which a stratified sample was made, resulting in the number of 347 students with a margin of error of 0.5%. Results: Given the question of the general problem, what will be the sexual orientation and gender identity of the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences - Universidad Andina del Cusco 2019? Various types of sexual orientation have been identified according to the Kinsey test where 77.81% are heterosexual, 5.76% asexual, 6.05% bisexual, 4.32% heteroflexible, 3.46% bihetero, 2.31% homosexual, 0.29% bihomo, and with 0.00% homoflexible, and for gender identity with according to the BEM sexual role inventory, it gave us the result that 38.07% identify as feminine, 36.60% masculine, androgynous 24.18% and undifferentiated with 1.15% respectively. Conclusion: The existence of sexual diversity expressed in the types of sexual orientation, as well as in the gender identity of the students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, has been identified.
