The objective of this work was to develop the hydraulic design of the Senega-Tambo infiltration channel (amuna) in the San Pedro de Casta district, Huarochirí province, Lima region. The amunas are a type of ancestral infrastructure that dates back to pre-Columbian times, their main function is the recharge of aquifers through the infiltration of water from a stream and rainwater in the wet season to be used later in the rainy season. dry. Initially, the recognition and diagnosis of the amuna was carried out to record its current state. Then, hydrological, topographical and geological studies were carried out that allowed estimating the hydraulic design of the intake and the amuna channel. A conventional fixed barrage intake was built that diverts the water from the Carhuayumac River towards the amuna and a total of 607 m of amuna canal with a base of 0.6 m and a height of 0.4 m was also rehabilitated. By recovering 607 m of amuna, approximately 137,059.8 m3 of water per year would be infiltrated.
