The volume of water in the collectors (VAC), the volumetric content of soil water (θv), the resistance to penetration (RP) and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) are variable for lawn management. The focus of the work focuses on the integration of technology such as the use of sensors and practical applications of precision agriculture in green areas, using the Site-Specific Management Units (SSMUs) in the National Stadium sports field and recreational area of the UNALM. The objectives of the present work were to compare the distribution uniformity (DUlq) based on the VAC and the θv, to make temporary space maps of the θv, RP and NDVI; and calculate the correlation coefficients between θv, RP and NDVI. The results indicated that the DUlq based on θv was higher than the DUlq based on the VAC. In the National Stadium, frank sandy soil, the correlation between the RP and the θv was negative, that is, as the θv soil decreases the RP increases. In the UNALM, sandy loam soil, the correlation between the RP and the θv was negative, and the correlation between the NDVI and the 𝜃v was positive, that is, the 𝜃v and the NDVI decreases as the RP increases. The use of the maps of the SSMUs of the VAC, the θv, the RP, the NDVI are a practical application of precision agriculture in green areas, which provide specific field information that allows management decisions, such as correction of the deficiencies of the irrigation system in the distribution of water, the identification of areas that require aeration of the soil, visualization of the quality of grass, application of supplementary irrigation and implementation of strategies to improve the uniformity of irrigation distribution
