The aim of this investigation is to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of psych educational therapy in the development of attention and concentration in children from 6 to 9 years old with slow learning of elementary school and their evolution after 15 treatment sessions. As an assessment tool has been used the WISC-IV test (Wechsler Intelligence Scale) for 6-16 years old children. The process of this research involves a progressive development of different stages that begins in the collection of bibliographic data to understand the concepts of educational psychology, educational psychology therapy or treatment, cognitive processes, cognitive skills and slow learning. Second, a conversation with the director of the center to know the work they do with students. After, the procedure of taking samples (reason for consultation, diagnosis, treatment, program of sessions and activities) of 13 children of both sexes with slow learning, which needed to take individual psych pedagogical treatment to develop attention and concentration. Next, the results were analyzed and compared in order to test hypotheses and demonstrate the main objective. Finally, we present an intervention proposal from the pedagogical point of view as a teacher.
