The present innovative project entitled " Development of methodological strategies for the production of argumentative texts in students of the VI EBR cycle of a school in Lima" aims to promote the development of student abilities and skills to produce argumentative texts successfully, through the use of methodological strategies. For this purpose, the project proposes different activities for the creation of different argumentative texts (critical review, formal letter, opinion and editorial articles, advertising analysis of mass media, etc.) with its corresponding suggested strategy. Two results will be obtained from each text production activity: one based on general indications and the other, after a detailed modeling of the type of text. The indicators of achievement of these activities, the analysis and the evaluation of the obtained products will be made using the levels of thought of the taxonomy SOLO (Structure of the observed learning result) of John Biggs (2006) and of the learning standards proposed by the National Curriculum of the Ministry of Education (2016). In this sense, this project can be of great help for those who wish to work on argumentative skills in students of the first years of Secondary School with difficulties in the production of oral or written texts
