This research aims to optimize the seismic strength of stabilized adobe walls from the incorporation of sand and maguey fiber into adobe units to assess the superiority of physical and mechanical properties with those of traditional adobe currently used in the Llacllín district of Ancash department. For which a study is established with a quantitative approach, based on an experimental design. The influence of the incorporation of sand and maguey fiber on adobe units for housing walls may be assessed in order to obtain physical and mechanical properties other than traditional, making the necessary specimens, in quantities and dimensions according to Standard E.080. Adobe is a building material used mostly in high-wide areas, it is from the high rate of housing built with this predominant material in the surrounding areas for extraction and elaboration, the main problems it brings are the low seismic resistance of adobe elements and durability. This study proposes the improvement of resistance optimization in order to present a sustainable and economical improvement for the reinforcement of adobe units with the incorporation of sand and maguey fiber in the district of Llacllín-Ancash.
