The present work entitled “LEVEL OF RISK OF CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IN INCOME TO THE FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES OF THE UNIVERSIDAD ANDINA DEL CUSCO, 2019“ the objective was to determine the level of risk of alcohol consumption in those entering the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Andean University of Cusco, 2019. The methodological design was descriptive and transversal. The sample consisted of 217 students. The technique used was the questionnaire. Inside the level of risk of alcohol consumption in the entrants to the Faculty of Health Sciences, 42% obtained alcohol without risk, 35% consumed with risk, 16% they have harmful alcohol consumption and 7% are likely to have alcohol dependence. The general characteristics of the students, 36.9% are 18 to 19 years old, 53.5% are female, 88.9% are single, 66.8% come from urban areas, 79.7% are Catholics, 33.2% belong to The Faculty of Psychology, 57.1% come from a nuclear family, and 35% live with their parents. According to Audit's level of alcohol consumption risk, 40.6% take 1 to 2 times a month, 54.8% usually drinking 1 to 2 glasses of alcohol on a day of consumption, 56.7% never felt the need to drink on an empty stomach after drinking a lot the night before, 45.2% of the students never had regrets after drinking, 75.5% They indicate that they never received suggestions to stop drinking.
