The research: “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE ON EARLY STIMULATION IN MOTHERS OF CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OLD. GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANCY - C.S. SAN JERÓNIMO, CUSCO 2017”. It aims to: Determine the Level of Knowledge and Attitude about Early Stimulation in Mothers of children under 3 years. Office of Growth and Development - C.S. San Jerónimo, the design was descriptive and prospective, with a sample of 123 mothers of children. The technique used was observation and the instrument was a survey. RESULTS: Regarding the general characteristics, it is concluded that 56% of the mothers participating in the study are between 19 and 29 years of age, 7% of mothers are between 14 and 18 years old, and 2% are mothers over 40 years of age. These two groups very extreme, 72% are living mothers, 10% are single mothers and 1% are divorced or widowed mothers, 55% of mothers have secondary education and only 1% are mothers without education, compared to the occupation 53% of mothers are housewives, 7% are dependent mothers, 88% are from urban areas and only 12% are from rural areas, 39% of mothers have only one child, 8% have four or more children, 82% of mothers with only one child under 3 years old and 18% have two children under 3 years of age, and finally the family income in more than 37% have an income less than 1000 soles. Regarding the level of knowledge about early stimulation in mothers of children under 3 years, it is concluded that 97% have regular knowledge about early stimulation, and 3% have adequate knowledge and 75% of the mothers surveyed have an attitude of indifference, 24% have attitude of acceptance, and 1% attitude of rejection.
