The purpose of this study was to analyze the seasonal fluctuation and diversity of species of the fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae), under the influence of the fields in the Fruit Program at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, located in La Molina (Lima - Peru) during february 2011 to march 2012. The evaluations were performed on a weekly basis, installing a network of McPhail traps, monitoring the presence of this pest by habitat; between the main crops that were studied, we have: tangerine, lúcumo, peach, avocado and a collection of citrus. The MTD and the alpha and beta diversity indices were also calculated. Four species of fruit flies were determined: Ceratitis capitata, Anastrepha fraterculus, Anastrepha serpentina and Anastrepha distincta. The largest population corresponds to Ceratitis capitata, on february 2012, it reached a weekly MTD of 12.06; and the lowest population occurred in november with a weekly MTD of 0.11. Making a reference to Anastrepha complex, we had the largest population on february 2012, with a weekly MTD of 3.28; but without registering catches in october and november. The most abundant species were Ceratitis capitata and Anastrepha fraterculus, reaching 88.02 and 11.86 percent respectively of the sample. The take of samples was determinated by curves of species accumulation in all the catchment area of study, reaching a 91.33 percent efficiency. In terms of similarity, citrus and avocado trees were really close (92.77 percent), followed by peach and lúcumo (85.08 percent). Tangerine cultivation had the lowest similarity to other crops reaching only 51.08 percent of shared species.
