ABSTRACT At present there are no specific parameters in Cajamarca that enable us to control the compaction in the number of necessary "cycles" to be performed by a compactor at work, for which this study was performed to determine the "number of cycles STANDARD LEVEL LAYER AFFIRMED for optimum compactness, using methods: CONE OF SAND AND NUCLEAR densimeter; IN THE MAIN ACCESS TO CONGA "and the results of field density tests to determine the values that are identified as the most reliable, aided by national and international standards. To carry out this test work a stretch of 3 kilometers, on which once placed the uniform layer thickness of 150 mm of said material, the compaction control tests were conducted using the methods selected: Densimeter Nuclear ASTM D2922 - MTC E 124 and ASTM D1556 sand cone - MTC E 117. The degree of compaction is determined according to the following number of cycles: - After 3 cycles. - After 2 cycles. - After 5 cycles. - After 4 cycles. - After 7 cycles. - After 6 cycles. From the results obtained with the methods of field density, it was determined that 6 past cycles with smooth 10 tn vibratory roller. the optimum degree of compaction of 95% standard proctor is reached ASTM D 698 - E 116 MTC in said layer; which it is what specifies the EG - 2013 in its heading Construction Requirement: 301.E.21 Acceptance of Work (e. Compaction).
